Good morning, well depending on when you read this it may or may not be morning, hope its good anyway. Wow, riding arenas ar very popular right now. I'm quoting them more than other ag structures which is a bit of a surprise.
I do understand why folks are interested in steel buildings for this application though. The clear span capabilities of steel for example; up to 300 ft where a pole structure is normally 80 or so feet. Also, you can apply liner panels to the walls which makes an ideal inside wall for horses or mules etc., limiting damage and protecting the primary wall sheeting. These items are in addition to the superior strength of the structure. No wood to attract wood eating insests. One thing many people don't realize is; treated lumber is to protect from water damage not insects. There is little protection from insects especially as the wood ages. I was just thinking, I don't know of a single steel eating insect; Do you? lol!! Anyway, if your considering an arena or any other structure I strongly recomment giving us a call you might be surprised about how competitive a steel building is compared to a pole structure. Just a thought, talk to you soon!
PS Really looking forward to spring arn't you?
